What a nice day (temp wise)

Marissa wanted me to take some photographs of her outside today. It was so nice out. 30 degrees after having about 4 new inches of snow along with freezing rain this morning and afternoon.

This cute little foot belongs to an ADORABLE 6 month old baby boy named Jacob.

I had a photo session with him this afternoon. And... OMGosh... I didn't want to stop taking his photographs. He was such a good baby. :)

Feel so... fortunate to get views like this almost every night...

Working on my photography lighting skills

First of all... YES, I know that it's a DOLL... (LOL) I was practicing some lighting concepts today for a photo session I have with a 2 week old baby girl tomorrow afternoon. IMO, my last newborn photo session... didn't exactly turn out how I wanted it to. The lighting was horrible.

(HEY! I'm learning something new every day!) A newbie photographer learns things all the time. And I'm about as new as I can get. :)

Still waiting on my first lesson from the New York Institute of Photography.
