Wow. It is really windy out there. We have a High Wind Warning until 7pm tomorrow night! Craziness!

Anyways, thought I'd show you how wild the lake is... Looks more like the ocean than the like. ;)

Working on my photography lighting skills

First of all... YES, I know that it's a DOLL... (LOL) I was practicing some lighting concepts today for a photo session I have with a 2 week old baby girl tomorrow afternoon. IMO, my last newborn photo session... didn't exactly turn out how I wanted it to. The lighting was horrible.

(HEY! I'm learning something new every day!) A newbie photographer learns things all the time. And I'm about as new as I can get. :)

Still waiting on my first lesson from the New York Institute of Photography.

I made this basket today to use for my photography. I will be using it for newborns. I can switch the pink ribbon for blue ribbon to use for a boy. :) Can't wait to use it. This Sunday with an almost 2 week old baby girl. :)

MONDAY'S POST

Took this photo behind Tomah Memorial Hospital, then added some words to it.

Teresa Williams (Wilkinson) was murdered by her husband in a jealous rage in 2009. She was shot with her daughter upstairs. She was Isabel's nurse when she was born. Took her photograph. She was such a kind person. Great smile. I was just... remembering her today on a short walk by the lake.

Leaves, leaves leaves... Everywhere

Isabel had a wonderful time playing in the leaves today. So did I. Just watching her. Helping her make a big leaf pile, made me feel like I was 7 again. Playing in the leaves under the maple tree on the farm. *sighs*

As this system continues with all of it's wickedness... I can't wait for Jehovah and Jesus to usher in the new system, as God promises in 2 Peter 3: 13.

Gorgeous day today. Caitlyn, Isabel & I went for a walk to town to see about buying some baby hats down at a children's store. We walked through the leaves on the ground... What is it about walking through fallen leaves and the smell of fall in the air, that brings me back to my childhood?

Anyways... I took a photo of one of my best buds, Buddy. :D Our cat. We've had him for almost 5 years now. Hard to believe. Trust me when I say that his name fits him VERY well.

Action on the bike trail...

Was awakened early this morning, by sirens. It turns out that the sirens were coming from the bike trail, just across the road from us. Our neighbor said that someone drove their car into the ditch/river or something. Waiting for confirmation of this. (lol)

Went to my niece, Chelsea's baby shower today. Had a good time. Then afterwards, took some photos of my other niece, Tasha. :)
